Annual Statement Reporting Requirements
If your company is licensed to write automobile insurance in Massachusetts, it is
requested that copies of the following documents be filed with the AIB on or before
the due dates shown below along with the Annual Statement Verification and Acknowledgement Form.
The filing should include hard copy as well as an electronic file.
2009 Annual Statement - due March 1, 2010
2009 Statutory Page 14 for Massachusetts - due March 1, 2010
2009 Insurance Expense Exhibit - due April 1, 2010
2009 Combined Annual Statement - due May 3, 2010
- The 9" x 14" sized Annual Statement is preferred if multiple sizes are available
and the filing must include all supplements.
- Electronic filings may be filed on CD and must contain an external label and must
be prepared in accordance with the NAIC Filing Instructions. In lieu of a
CD, an electronic zip file may also be sent to
annstat@aib.org
as an email attachment. Each company or group file must be uniquely identified by
NAIC Company number
- 2009 Combined Annual Statement is required if more than one company in your group
has been requested.
It is extremely important that the Statutory Page 14 for Massachusetts be received by the March 1, 2010 due date and
that revisions be reported to AIB staff as soon as they become available.
