Annual Statement Reporting Requirements
If your company is licensed to write automobile insurance in Massachusetts, the AIB requests
electronic copies of the following documents on or before the due dates shown below along with
the Annual Statement Verification and Acknowledgement Form.
2011 Annual Statement - due March 1, 2012
2011 Exhibit of Premium and Losses for Massachusetts - due March 1, 2012
2011 Insurance Expense Exhibit - due April 2, 2012
2011 Combined Annual Statement - due May 1, 2012
- New this year: Electronic filings only. Hard copy books and paper statements are no longer requested.
- Electronic filings in the form of a zip file, in accordance with the NAIC Filing Instructions,
should be sent to annstat@aib.org as an email attachment.
Each company or group file must be uniquely identified by NAIC Company number. In lieu of an email attachment,
electronic filings may also be filed on CD and must contain an external label.
- If more than one company in your group is licensed to write automobile insurance in Massachusetts, the
Combined Annual Statement must be reported as well.
It is extremely important that the electronic files contain complete PDF documents of the requested statements.
Revisions must be reported to AIB as soon as they become available.
